Hieu Ngo joined the Website Pipeline team 2 months ago as a Web Designer, having previously served as the Webmaster for Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. During his first FedEx Day he brought home the infamous Cornhole Championship, striking envy in the hearts of many seasoned Pipeliners who haven't yet taken home the heralded title.
He juggles his time between designing the visual aspects of a website's user expierence to meet a client's brand standards, and doing front end development where he implements these designs through coding languages.
Hieu truly enjoys his day-to-day role at Website Pipeline and finds solace in the quote, “do what you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life.” Needless to say, we're excited he "never works" on our team and expect big things from Hieu in the future.
Vince DeCrescenzio joined the Website Pipeline team two months ago as our Senior Accountant, adding to the growing list of recent hires. He was in the Marine Corps for 4 years before going to college and spent the last 2 years working at a consulting firm as an accountant.
Vince has already taken on a lot of responsibilities in his short time here, although most of his time has been spent creating a 2017 budget. Like any good accountant, he finds combing through numbers all day to be very interesting and enjoys tackling large projects that few have the courage or aptitude for.
Michelle Pakla is a Developer at Website Pipeline and while it's only been a few weeks since joining the team, she is already showing off her skills. With an abundance of design experience in different industries, she spends most of her time here on front-end coding and designing user interfaces for websites.
As a huge fan of the original Star Trek and Twilight Zone series, Michelle has the imagination to appreciate the impossible and the intelligence to maintain her grasp on reality. Her life motto is "whatever happens, happens", and we're sure glad that she happens to work at Website Pipeline!
Website Pipeline customer, Lodge Cast Iron, is joining the cause to help victims of the Tennessee wildfires and is producing a special skillet stamped with the Great Smoky Mountains and the year 2016. These skillets are being offered at a discounted price and half of the proceeds from each skillet sold are being donated to the Dollywood Foundations “My People Fund”.
Fawcett Boat Supplies, a company dedicated to providing the most extensive selection of marine and boating supplies, has been working hard in recent months to implement new changes to their customer website.
This past Friday, Website Pipeline got into the holiday spirit by venturing out of the office to partake in our annual shopping trip for charity.
The company showed up in full force at the local Wal-Mart, divided up into teams, and set out to find the very best gifts for families in the area.
Coolie Sheppard joined the Website Pipeline team a month ago as a Senior Systems Administrator and brings with him over 10 years of IT experience, though he's been deep in the interwebs since he was a teenager. Prior to joining the team, he was a Systems Engineer working on virtualization and security for stadiums and sports venues around the country.
Most of his time so far has been spent familiarizing himself with Website Pipeline's existing systems and networks to identify current practices and potential improvements, but he's taking on more responsibilities by the day. Passionate about security, he enjoys playing the role of Big Brother protecting employees from accidentally downloading torrents and other potentially harmful files.
An avid fan of Kung Fu flicks and 90's hip hop, Coolie brings another upbeat personality to a group that certainly doesn't lack in energy. Couple that with his belief that "everyone should give 110% in everything they do", and we know Coolie will be a Website Pipeline superstar for years to come.
Cannon Palms has only been at Website Pipeline for two short months, but he brings with him years of software development experience.
He's currently a Software Developer on the Account Management team and handles the small-medium sized custom development work needed to serve existing customers. He also looks at problems that Account Managers run into on live customer sites and evaluates potential solutions to eradicate these issues.
