Why Data Accuracy in ERP-Integration Matters

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Sep 26, 2016 3:08:19 PM

More than ever, mid-size businesses are dependant on sync tools and other software to allow the information in their ERP to be unlocked and used to power e-commerce, payment portals, and sales rep tools on their website.

This data is the backbone, if you will, of all the customer activity functions that now more than ever are taking place online.

If you’re depending on a website to do what it needs to do (which is a lot), you need to make sure that infrastructure is rock solid.

Employee Spotlight: Patrick Scherz

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Sep 26, 2016 10:35:00 AM

Pat Scherz is an official "Sales Guy" here at Website Pipeline - meaning when someone comes to us in need of ERP-integrated websites or tools, he's the one on the phone finding out what their businesss needs, if our software is the best solution, answering all their questions, and ultimately getting a quote in their hands so they can make a well-informed decision.

With a wide range of entrepreneurial experience, from business ownership to operation, he was well prepared when a new opportunity came along with Website Pipeline - and after seeing what he had already accomplished on his own, we couldn't wait to get him on board and put his talents to good use solving problems for our prospective customers.

Employee Spotlight: Ted Goudie

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Sep 19, 2016 10:00:00 AM

Ted Goudie is the Marketing Director at Website Pipeline. What all does that entail? Planning and executing large-scale digital campaigns mostly - but also making sure we watch at least one funny cat video per day, taking lots of pretty pictures around the office, and keeping the front desk candy bowl sufficiently stocked at all times.

Since moving from Michigan to join the team in early 2015, he has greatly increased the company's Marketing chops, growing our digital footprint and helping us reach more customers than ever before.

He is the original mastermind behind our regularly scheduled employee spotlight posts, and as such has managed to escape becoming the subject of one himself... until now.

We knew Chris Frendo fit in from the moment he walked into his first day interview – was greeted by a singing, dancing, sparkly, gospel singer – and didn’t immediately run in the other direction.

As a part of the Marketing team, he creates and curates all the video content that helps tell the Website Pipeline story. His imagination and artistic vision have helped the company come up with with new and creative ways to visually market our brand.

If you haven’t already, head over to Instagram to check in on Chris and his newest production clips, funny moments from around the office, and outtakes from the Website Pipeline video studio - @website.pipeline

How To Write A Great Support Ticket

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Aug 25, 2016 9:46:09 AM

Miscommunication is an inevitable part of life.

As humans beings, we all sometimes struggle with getting our point across effectively - the more complex the subject matter, the more communication tends to break down.

When it comes to writing something as important as a support ticket, many people are at a loss as to what they should include, and how to communicate a technical issue to their IT support team.

Thankfully, there are certain guidelines you can follow which prevent much of the back-and-forth that adds time and frustration to the entire process.

Employee Spotlight: Ray Scarborough

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Aug 22, 2016 9:30:00 AM

Ray Scarborough has been with the company as a Sales Consultant for a mere 4 months, and in that short time has already had the privilege of ringing that famous Website Pipeline bell. Every day since then, he has been chasing the dragon, putting his heart and soul into one day hearing that glorious bell ring again.

As one of the newer additions to our Sales team, he spends much of his time learning about the Website Pipeline product offering, and making sure he knows the answers to any questions our potential customers might have. He does, however, have an edge over other newcomers; he is a veteran of the ERP industry, having started one of the first Microsoft Dynamics reseller agencies in South Carolina in 2002.
