Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Aug 25, 2016 9:46:09 AM

Miscommunication is an inevitable part of life.

As humans beings, we all sometimes struggle with getting our point across effectively - the more complex the subject matter, the more communication tends to break down.

When it comes to writing something as important as a support ticket, many people are at a loss as to what they should include, and how to communicate a technical issue to their IT support team.

Thankfully, there are certain guidelines you can follow which prevent much of the back-and-forth that adds time and frustration to the entire process.

Employee Spotlight: Ray Scarborough

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Aug 22, 2016 9:30:00 AM

Ray Scarborough has been with the company as a Sales Consultant for a mere 4 months, and in that short time has already had the privilege of ringing that famous Website Pipeline bell. Every day since then, he has been chasing the dragon, putting his heart and soul into one day hearing that glorious bell ring again.

As one of the newer additions to our Sales team, he spends much of his time learning about the Website Pipeline product offering, and making sure he knows the answers to any questions our potential customers might have. He does, however, have an edge over other newcomers; he is a veteran of the ERP industry, having started one of the first Microsoft Dynamics reseller agencies in South Carolina in 2002.

Employee Spotlight: Nate Henderson

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Aug 15, 2016 11:25:44 AM

Nate Henderson's official title at Website Pipeline is Network Administrator. Throughout the office, however, he is better known as "the guy who fixes everything". There are a couple of things more in his wheel-house than others - such as computer maintenance, computer building, device support, and anything audio/visual - but he is always ready and willing to take on anything we throw his way.

His willingness to help with things that are beyond the normal scope of his duties is commendable, and for those of us who rely on him to keep our computers from crashing and bursting into flames on a daily basis, he is essential.

Employee Spotlight: Brian Seidel

Posted by Ashley Fenlon on Jul 18, 2016 10:30:00 AM

Brian Seidel’s official title is CEO of Website Pipeline - but whatever you think you know about what a CEO does, you can throw that right out the window.

Of course there’s the standard balancing of employee time and cash assets, the strategizing ways to get, keep, and grow customers, and the day-to-day management of employees.

But Seidel isn’t like other CEOs. He doesn’t wear a suit and tie to work. He doesn’t oversee his business dealings from afar. He gets his hands dirty and works hard to keep the momentum of Website Pipeline going strong.

As many employees will tell you, middle of the night emails are not uncommon. Usually accompanied by hand written diagrams and innumerable bullet points.

In 1999, he was one of three who set off to start a business together, and today the company is one of the fastest growing tech companies in North America.

As everyone in the company inevitably has to endure, we’ve torn him away from his busy schedule, sat him down, and picked his brain for your reading pleasure. Enjoy.
