Employee Spotlight: Hieu Ngo

Posted by Jack Evans on Jan 2, 2017 10:30:00 AM

Hieu Ngo joined the Website Pipeline team 2 months ago as a Web Designer, having previously served as the Webmaster for Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. During his first FedEx Day he brought home the infamous Cornhole Championship, striking envy in the hearts of many seasoned Pipeliners who haven't yet taken home the heralded title.

He juggles his time between designing the visual aspects of a website's user expierence to meet a client's brand standards, and doing front end development where he implements these designs through coding languages.

Hieu truly enjoys his day-to-day role at Website Pipeline and finds solace in the quote, “do what you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life.”  Needless to say, we're excited he "never works" on our team and expect big things from Hieu in the future.

Employee Spotlight: Vince DeCrescenzio

Posted by Jack Evans on Dec 26, 2016 10:05:00 AM

Vince DeCrescenzio joined the Website Pipeline team two months ago as our Senior Accountant, adding to the growing list of recent hires. He was in the Marine Corps for 4 years before going to college and spent the last 2 years working at a consulting firm as an accountant.

Vince has already taken on a lot of responsibilities in his short time here, although most of his time has been spent creating a 2017 budget. Like any good accountant, he finds combing through numbers all day to be very interesting and enjoys tackling large projects that few have the courage or aptitude for.

Employee Spotlight: Michelle Pakla

Posted by Jack Evans on Dec 19, 2016 10:32:00 AM

Michelle Pakla is a Developer at Website Pipeline and while it's only been a few weeks since joining the team, she is already showing off her skills. With an abundance of design experience in different industries, she spends most of her time here on front-end coding and designing user interfaces for websites.

As a huge fan of the original Star Trek and Twilight Zone series, Michelle has the imagination to appreciate the impossible and the intelligence to maintain her grasp on reality. Her life motto is "whatever happens, happens", and we're sure glad that she happens to work at Website Pipeline!

Employee Spotlight: Coolie Sheppard

Posted by Jack Evans on Dec 12, 2016 10:32:00 AM

Coolie Sheppard joined the Website Pipeline team a month ago as a Senior Systems Administrator and brings with him over 10 years of IT experience, though he's been deep in the interwebs since he was a teenager. Prior to joining the team, he was a Systems Engineer working on virtualization and security for stadiums and sports venues around the country.

Most of his time so far has been spent familiarizing himself with Website Pipeline's existing systems and networks to identify current practices and potential improvements, but he's taking on more responsibilities by the day. Passionate about security, he enjoys playing the role of Big Brother protecting employees from accidentally downloading torrents and other potentially harmful files.

An avid fan of Kung Fu flicks and 90's hip hop, Coolie brings another upbeat personality to a group that certainly doesn't lack in energy. Couple that with his belief that "everyone should give 110% in everything they do", and we know Coolie will be a Website Pipeline superstar for years to come.

Employee Spotlight: Tristan Walters

Posted by Jack Evans on Nov 28, 2016 10:30:00 AM

Tristan Walters is a developer on the Project Management team and has been with Website Pipeline for over 4 and a half years.

He's accomplished a lot during his time here, but arguably his greatest achievement was the invention of the Trashtendo (see picture below) during the most recent Website Pipeline FedEx Day. It's not very easy to use and incorporates little modern technology, but most of the materials are "recycled trash" so it's an eco-friendly collector's item.

Employee Spotlight: Steve Norton

Posted by Jack Evans on Nov 21, 2016 10:30:00 AM

Steve Norton joined the Website Pipeline Leadership Team 3 months ago, coming out of a brief retirement to be our Chief Financial Officer. He brings over 30 years of financial and operational experience, having served as the CFO of both publicly-traded and privately-held software businesses.

His primary focus is helping Website Pipeline build the infrastructure needed to facilitate our fast growth, but equally important is his commitment to protecting the company from crazy hoverboard drivers and nerf gun shooters alike. Like all of our fearless leaders, Steve isn't afraid of a challenge and has already embraced the tradition of making friendly office bets

Steve has been embracing the lake life since moving into a new home on Lake Keowee, and is excited about adding a new member to his family with the upcoming birth of his grandson.

Employee Spotlight: Liz George

Posted by Jack Evans on Nov 14, 2016 10:30:00 AM

Liz George is one of the newer members of the Website Pipeline team, joining us 4 months ago as a Sales Consultant after graduating from Clemson University.

She recently closed her first sale, so she's already gotten to ring the famous Website Pipeline bell and you better believe she'll be ringing it again. She views Dwight from The Office as the most influential salesperson in the history of the paper industry, and she works daily to have that kind of impact on the ERP industry.

When she's not helping customers make well-informed decisions about their ERP-integration needs, she enjoys messaging GIFs to co-workers and hanging out with her fish Broderick. Liz has fully embraced the work hard, play hard culture at Website Pipeline, and we can't wait to hear the bell ring again.

Employee Spotlight: CJ Onyeukwu

Posted by Jack Evans on Nov 7, 2016 10:30:00 AM

CJ Onyeukwu has been a Software Developer at Website Pipeline for the past four months, but will soon be moving into a Project Manager role. While his main responsibility is supporting the Account Management team with miscellaneous tasks, he brings added value as a semi-professional laugh starter and a world-class snack eater.

CJ hasn't been here long enough to win any official Website Pipeline awards, but he is the self-proclaimed "swaggiest" person in the office after beating out Blake Yoder and Alex Berk for the coveted title. He's got a larger-than-life personality and is as cool as the other side of the pillow, so we know he's destined for success.
